Manitowish Waters area - If you can get up here this weekend, DO IT! The colors should be unbelievable for the next 7-10 days. The yellows are real bright and the reds are just breathtaking in some places. The fishing has really picked up with the cooler temperatures, too. Click here for the latest fishing report. Towns covered are Manitowish Waters, Boulder Junction, Winchester, Mercer and Presque Isle. The colors in Presque Isle and Winchester are a little ahead of the rest. These photos were taken in Manitowish Waters, on the Manitowish Chain of Lakes on 10-9-03.
